Manche Menschen denken: Es gibt schon so viele Bücher. Warum soll ich noch eines schreiben, ich habe doch nichts Neues zu sagen? Ich setze die Miniserie „beliebte Ausreden, um ein Buch nicht zu schreiben" fort. Letzte Woche ich mich mit „Hilfe, ich habe keine Zeit zu schreiben!" beschäftigt, diese Woche attackiere ich die Frage: Habe ich überhaupt etwas zu sagen, das es wert ist in ein Buch geschrieben zu werden? Im Außen gibt es im Zeitalter der Selfpublishing-Bewegung keine Hindernisse mehr am Weg zum Buch – also finden wir sie im Innen. Ich untersuche für dich unter anderem: Wann ist es tatsächlich besser kein Buch zu schreiben? Warum einfaches Nachmachen kein Grund ist ein Buch zu schreiben. Was ist das Besondere, das Einzigartige an dem, was du machst? Gibt es in deinen persönlichen Erfahrungen etwas, das andern helfen kann? Den Unterschied in der Wichtigkeit von Methoden und Ergebnissen für deine Kundinnen und potenziellen Leser. Warum die Menschen unterschiedliche Erklärungsmodelle für die gleichen Phänomene brauchen. Unter welcher Voraussetzung du moralisch verpflichtet bist ein Buch zu schreiben. Was du vielleicht auch von John Locke lernen kannst. Warum der Bedarf nach ehrlich erzählten Geschichten so groß ist. Wieso der offene Umgang mit Widersprüchen so beispielgebend ist. Warum die Welt vielleicht genau auf dein Buch wartet. Wieso gemeinsam auch das Schreiben leichter geht.
