March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the many contributions that women have made to the fabric of American History. This March, we encourage you and your family to plan activities throughout the month that promote learning about unique women who have made tremendous impacts on our history. We also encourage you to learn more about women’s history, accomplishments, and experiences;  commemorate women’s stories; and celebrate women’s achievements. Our featured event was Snowmageddon 2023! Were any of us really expecting the heavy snowfall we experienced on Wednesday and Thursday, February 22nd and 23rd? It has been a while since we had such a clear indication that a no-school day was in order. And it was the perfect consistency for all of the fun activities: sledding, snowball fights, making snow angels, and building snowpeople! We hope everyone enjoyed the late-season snow and stayed safe and warm in between outdoor excursions. Kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year opens on Wednesday, March 1st. Register at your "home" school using the Enrollment Process as soon as possible. District-wide kinder fairs will take place on April 13th and 27th.
