Damit geht der Wunsch vieler Jüdinnen und Juden in Erfüllung, nach den letzten Jahrzehnten der Verfolgung und Ermordung zurückkehren zu können nach Zion, dem "Land der Väter". Der Weg von der Idee Theodor Herzls, in Palästina eine "Heimstätte" für das jüdische Volk zu schaffen, bis zum Staat Israel war lang.
