In 1922, a remote Bavarian farmhouse became the center of one of Europe’s most chilling unsolved murder cases.   The Hinterkaifeck farm looked normal from the outside. Smoke still rose from the chimney. The animals had been fed. The fire was warm. Life seemed to be continuing.   But inside, six people were dead.   Andreas Gruber, his wife Cäzilia, their daughter Viktoria, young Cäzilia, baby Josef, and the new maid Maria had all been brutally murdered.
