Hebrews 12:8 [NKJV], But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. It is only legitimate children that are prepared to receive their inheritance. However, the stakes are higher for the legitimate children and the training is more intense to ensure that we receive our inheritance. God wants to make us, His legitimate children worthy heirs through responsibility. We receive different rights and therefore endure different levels of discipline. Let’s not run away from these times of preparation as we are being prepared to receive an eternal inheritance that will not perish or fade. There is a purpose in God’s discipline, He wants us to step into our Kingdom destiny & inheritance. We have a good Father and He is working in us to prepare us for eternal Glory.
