Despite the misconception, breeds like Labrador and Golden Retrievers aren't more predisposed; it's just that there are more of them around. For dogs, a sudden limp in a back leg usually signals an ACL tear, which Dr. Daye can often diagnose with a physical exam, although x-rays can reveal secondary changes.
