His Council is Home

Yesterday, in the course of a conversation with a friend about business and life and reformation, I mentioned courts and council as great kingdom tools. This morning the Lord tweaked me and said, “The council is not just a tool, it’s your home.” The highlight of 2018 was learning to appear in His Council, activating seer gifts and taking others there too. It was amazing to see the welcome mat out for this invitation to the courts and council in Europe this fall. Six times we took groups into the courts and council, and people loved the experience of it. It feels like the good news of the Kingdom, and everyone is forcing his way into it (Lu. 16:16). Amazing! Ps. 84:7 – They go from strength to strength, Every one of them appears before God in Zion. NASU As I think about 2018 and the experience of entering His Council, the concept that God (and all creation) has been waiting for us to appear before Him in Heaven came like an assignment. It’s how the Kingdom works. Appearing before God in Zion is what Sons do. We ascend, see what the Father is doing and saying, and bring back the goods. It’s not passive; it’s participating in a conversation; feeling the freedom to ask questions; embracing the initiative to collaborate and co-labor. It’s alive!
