His love toward us – Morning Prayer, Thursday, Proper 20

It’s Thursday of Ordinary Time, Proper 20 in the Church Calendar. September 28, 2023. Praying today for Christen in Midlothian, Texas. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing a song I wrote with Stephanie Osorio called “The Way You Do” with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 116 and 117 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day followed by a time of spontaneous, prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here.
