His real sleeping-bag?

from Polar Times Hosted by APECS

Hello and thank you for tuning in to another episode of Polar Times! This week’s episode is with one of our new hosts, Henrietta. She gets chatting to Naomi Chapman, Education and Outreach Assistant at the Polar Museum, part of the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge. Naomi is a museum educator-extraordinaire and here she talks about what it’s like to teach people about the polar regions every day. Naomi has been involved in some amazing projects and she tells us about her work on everything from a co-curated exhibition to a one-of-a-kind fabric map of Antarctica (complete with Lake Vostok silk-pocket!). Stay tuned for some advice for people interested in non-academic polar careers and to see if you can shed some light on a question from a primary school child that no one seems to know the answer to… For everything from educational videos to polar sewing projects, check out the Polar Museum’s awesome teaching resources here: https://www.spri.cam.ac.uk/museum/resources/ If you do have anything you’d like to tell us, no matter how big or small, please do get in touch via email ([email protected]) or tweet APECS (@Polar_Research). We’d love to hear from you! Episode edited by Elise Gallois Cover art by Matthew Nelson Music: “Scuba” by Metre, Nul Tiel Records, UK (unaltered) CC BY-NC-SA

Barnum. Some laws teach the need for prudence (“Law 1: Never Outshine the Master”), others teach the value of confidence (“Law 28: Enter Action with Boldness”), and many recommend absolute self-preservation (“Law 15: Crush Your Enemy Totally”). Every law, though, has one thing in common: an interest in t Patti Talks Too Much Patti Hi. I'm Patti and it's been said - many times - that I talk too much. I'm a teacher, author, nature lover and for ten years I owned a coffeehouse cafe where my faith in the goodness of humans was restored every day. This podcast highlights the awesomeness of humanity - er...outside the warmongers, globalists, tyrants and politicians in general. You know, the rest of us weird, quirky and sometimes hilarious humans. We'll talk woo, probe mysteries and leave you thinking about something more interesting or entertaining or uplifting than your grocery list, or boss or that oil change your car needs. I talk too much because I can't help my Gemini moon and Leo Rising nature. I do a podcast because it's cheaper, funnier and more productive than therapy. My Messy, Human Life Sheena Grund A new adventure of being alive in this messy, difficult, and beautiful human life... topics to be discussed at different times: life, unlearning, disability, faith, love, Spirit... really all the things! It'll be messy (as in all over the place), but that literally in the title of the podcast, so hopefully it's not a surprise! Also, life is unpredictable and beautiful, which I hope this podcast will be, too. Who Am I? Air Kraehmer Best known for her award-winning books about therapy, spirituality and her testimony of overcoming human trafficking, Air shares her walk of life with survivors all over the world. This podcast is dedicated to help you discover who you are through dark, happy and elevating times.
