A (relatively) in-depth analysis of American folk band Hiss Golden Messenger. Formed in 2007 and originating from North Carolina, the group is led by singer/songwriter MC Taylor. Hiss Golden Messenger's early recordings were released through Taylor's label, Heaven & Earth Magic Recording Company. The limited edition debut album, Country Hai East Cotton, was released in 2009.
