Histamine Intolerance with Amantha King

from WomenKind Collective

In today’s podcast we talk Histamine with Amantha King and why as our oestrogen levels rise with HRT so does our histamine. There’s talk of why Emma Thompson regrets the demise of the full bush and we find out why pubic hair is actually a natural dry lubricant. There’s fashion news on how to wear a party top and also why more women orgasm when masturbating than through penetrative sex. We have the Book Collective, a new WI, a motivational quote, the Collective’s comments and there’s all the usual fun and forgetting what we’re supposed to be doing and completely going off script! Amantha King is the founder of Amantha King Coaching, a Certified NLP coach, strengths development consultant, applied biologist, keynote speaker, menopause coach, and more! She is recognised as a specialist in her field, and advises businesses on how to get the most from their important asset, their people. Amantha has a special interest in histamine intolerance and how it affects women during menopause. We learn that histamine is our first line of defence and that we have four main receptors in our body, but oestrogen and histamine share the same receptors. If you have a rise of histamine in your body then your oestrogen will also rise. Amantha gives us so many facts about histamine and how it can affect our body throughout menopause- you really will not want to miss this episode. You can watch the full interview on our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFgmHLcdx28eco-XlkWYwUA In the Book Collective we continue with Anita Diamant’s The Red Tent, in today’s chapters we meet Rebecca, Dinah’s grandmother and far from being a warm receptive woman, she is a hard task master, a revered healer with people come from miles around to be healed by her. We are getting to understand Dinah as she reaches puberty and is about to take her place in the red tent, but life is about to take a cruel turn. Next week we read to part 3, Egypt. The final week of the WI and we discuss power walking and how you feel afterwards and also why a meditative walk allows you time to be I the moment and have clarity with your surroundings. There’s a new WI from Jinty and it’s all about the water. Please subscribe, follow and share our podcast, we have no sponsors but you can help spread the word.
