Country Joe & The Fish abren el año 68 con su tercer LP ‘Rock And Soul Music’. Los Byrds editan su quinto LP ‘The Notorious Byrd Brothers’, psicodélico pero insinuando abiertamente el country-rock del siguiente álbum. Otis Redding obtiene póstumamente el mayor éxito de su discografía. Amén de otros bombones del beat británico y del pop americano.
