The Rainbow Classroom Paula In this podcast I intend to merge two of the things I'm most passionate about: teaching and LGBTQ+ issues. Having a few years of teaching experience, I have realize that schools don't discuss certain topics that should be addressed, as they are vital for kids who are growing up and experimenting. So, welcome to the Rainbow Classroom, your safe space for LGBTQ+ teenagers and anyone interested in getting and insight in some of the main issues! Both novels are notable for their protagonists' mild opposition to Mormon polygamy, but in The Rainbow Trail this theme is treated more explicitly. The plots of both books revolve around the victimization of women in the Mormon culture: events in Riders of the Purple Sage are centered on the struggle of a Mormon woman who sacrifices her wealth and social status to avoid becoming a junior wife of the head of a local church, while The Rainbow Trail contrasts the older Mormons with the rising generation of Mormon women who will not tolerate polygamy and Mormon men who do not seek it. (Summary Wikipedia) Rainbow Book: Tales of Fun and Fancy, The by Mabel Henrietta Spielmann (1862 - 1938) LibriVox The Rainbow Book: Tales of Fun & Fancy is a book of children's stories from British author Mabel Henrietta Spielmann. Some are well known like "The Sleeping Beauty", and some were invented for the book and are a product of their time. Some tell about magic, some about little children who did great things, and some about far away lands.
