HISTORY OF CHICAGO HOUSE MUSIC - DJ UZO - INTERVIEW

Today we are doing an interview - for Technology Group, which is the general representative of Funktion One brand in Ukraine Hi guys, my name is Uzo, and I am a Professional DJ, Designer, Business Consultant, Artist, and Community Activist who has spent four years studying Chicago House Music Scene and while building Uber Technologies in Chicago. As a professional DJ and event producer, I had the honor to be living my trace on the history of the world by living my voice and input in regards to music as it made impacts on my life and cultural developments with MALA National, Library of Congress, Voice of America, Museum of African American History & Culture, & The White House. I had a blessing to meet and be a part of history while playing alongside some of the greatest legends of house music, such as Terry Hunter, Paul Johnson, Jesse Saunders, Mark Farina, Julius TheMad Thinker, Gene Farris, DJ Madrid and many more. During the 2015 commemorations of Frankie Knuckles' life, I had an opportunity to meet most of the house legends in Chicago and meet the family of Frankie Knuckles. That moment was priceless, and I will forever remember that Boiler Room Day at SmartBar & Gramaphone records.
