History of Encyclicals on Social Issues

In this episode we look at the history of encyclicals that deal with social issues. Beginning with Rerum Novarum, we will look at the issues that each encyclical dealt with since then. We will also take a look at why these series of encyclical began, at what the circumstances around the encyclicals were and why the Church began defining its’ social teaching after many centuries.
