History of the Bay: Crayone

Crayone is one of the most well-respected graffiti writers in the world. His career goes back to the beginning of hip-hop in San Francisco, where he started off as a b-boy. Once he transitioned into graffiti, Crayone pushed himself to become one of the best in the game. He founded the TWS crew (Together With Style) with the mission to bring together writers who could excel at every area of graffiti. This led to a rivalry with TMF, and the two crews had a legendary battle that changed the history of San Francisco graffiti. This interview only covers the beginnings of Crayone's career up until the early 90s, so we'll be having him back on the podcast in the future.
