He linked with the rest of HBK Gang during the infamous ShmopLife parties in Richmond and rose to success with the rest of the crew after Iamsu! and LoveRance dropped "Up!" Since then he has developed a prolific catalogue while also producing and writing for artists like Kehlani and G-Eazy.
