One of the most long-running and memorable sporting events in St. Louis history was Wrestling at the Chase. In the 1950's when television was new and there were only 3 channels, Harold Koplar added a 4th station called KPLR in St. Louis and he needed programming. Koplar ended up meeting Sam Muchnick, promoter of NWA wrestling on a TWA flight, and an idea was born. Sports historian and author of "Wrestling at the Chase" Ed Wheatley joins Sue with the story, and true WATC fan Fred Bodimer shares tales of his superfandom.
