Hit the Wall on Spammers? iOS 26.6 Will Tell You When Your Block List Is Full

We’ve all been there—relentlessly tapping "Block this Caller" on every spammer who dares interrupt our day. But did you know your block list actually has a limit? In the upcoming iOS 26.6 update, Apple is finally shedding some light on this mystery. A new alert discovered in the beta will explicitly warn you when you’ve reached your maximum blocked contacts limit, which users report can range anywhere from 8,000 to over 20,000 numbers. If you hit this wall, you'll have to manually prune your list in Settings to make room for new pests.
