Chances are you have herpes. You may know it, you may not. Approximately 75% of Americans carry Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) 1 or 2. Now what can you do about it if you DO know you have herpes and want to decrease outbreaks? Dr. Elizabeth Bonet talks about two articles where hypnosis helped decrease outbreaks, pain, and severity of herpes. Around 75% of Americans carry HSV 1 or HSV 2 somewhere on their body. That virus can (but may not) be transmitted to anysurface of someone else's body, via physical contact. If it does transmit, there's an ~80% chance that they won't recognize any symptoms from the infection.
