Hokies Seek First Win vs Maryland

Virginia Tech heads to College Park for a high-stakes showdown against Maryland, aiming for their first Power Four non-conference win since 2017. After a brutal 2021 loss by over 40 points and a heartbreaking 2013 overtime defeat, the Hokies are looking to flip the script against a Maryland team led by rising star QB Malik Washington — a six-foot-five freshman who shattered school records last season. With a 4-3 road record against the Terrapins and a chance to break a two-game losing streak, Virginia Tech’s defense will be tested as they face Washington’s arm and Maryland’s rebound bid from a tough 2023 campaign. Kickoff is Saturday, September 19th, at 7:30 PM ET on FOX or FS1. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
