Hold Fast Our Confession of Faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ | 3,650 Minutes of Prayer

This is Day Seventy Two of 3,650 Minutes of Prayer. Today, we journeyed through the profound call to hold fast to our confession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We reflected on the necessity of never losing the awe we experienced the very first time we encountered God. We must always remember where God brought us from and that initial revelation that He is the only one we can truly turn to in our time of need.We spent time analyzing the nature of faith, which comes by hearing the word of God. We pondered deeply the beautiful process of salvation—Christ, born of a woman, being crucified for our sake. We marveled at the tearing of the veil, which opened the way into the Holy of Holies. Because of His sacrifice, we can now approach the throne of grace with confidence.We spent our time interceding and praying that we would never be among those who shrink back to destruction, but rather hold fast to our confession. Reminding ourselves that Christ is the True Vine and we are the branches, we prayed for the endurance to continually seek the Lord.
