Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. INSPIRATION: Moments like this where one is pressured on every side by life's reality, one is challenged to draw solace from God's Word: "‭‭Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails" (Prov. 19:21). The reason to draw this distinction is because you're predestined for a purpose (Rom. 8: 29 - 30). There's a purpose over your life that dictates what comes your way. I dare say many of the challenges life throws at you are part of God's agenda to bring you into alignment with His predetermined counsel concerning you. Before you were born, the agenda - God's holy plan, was already determined! Since it is holy, nothing tampers with it. Do what you may, you'll still come back into its reality so you can walk in all that God had in mind for you. "Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish" (Isa. 46: 10). Can you pause for a moment to thank God for His purposes for your life, that regardless of your plans, His plan prevails (Prov. 19: 21)? With this, you can be rest assured you'd always find divine alignment where it matters most! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Purposes supersede plans. Find God's purposes early and structure your plans to align. PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for Your  predetermined purposes for my life. Help me to come into the full knowledge of that purpose and to completely align towards its actualisation. I subject my plan to the counsel of Your will, knowing my plans can only work to the extent it aligns with Yours. Give me grace to live for this, in Jesus name.
