Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations— that's what I had in mind for you" - Jeremiah 1:5 (MSG) Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Isaiah 46:10 NLT‬‬ 10. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. INSPIRATION: Isaiah was very emphatic when he said only God can tell you the future before it happens. Believers must take a cue from this and not allow anyone hoodwink them into some sham of some prophetic pointers that has no basis in the Scriptures. This statement does not in any way attack the office or role of a prophet; it only serves to warn you to subject every 'prophetic pointer' to the scrutiny of God's Word. Test all spirits, John warns us (1 John 4: 1). Do not give room for deceptive spiritual manipulations and manipulators as we now see today! Isaiah says further, "Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish" (Isa. 46:10b). Why? They align with His plan for your life - a plan that had been put in place before your birth. Believers owe it to themselves and to God to discover His original purpose for creating them. Do not serve an agenda different from your original purpose. God had a plan in mind for creating you. Jeremiah's own was to be a prophet to the nations (Jer. 1: 5), whats yours? Make no mistakes about it, you're not where you are by accident. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Successes in a chosen field is not a guarantee that you're operating in your purpose. Purpose is God's original intent; your blueprint in life. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please bring me into the full knowledge of the purposes why You created me and give me the strength and will to walk in pursuit of this. I yield my will in total submission to Your predetermined counsel for my life until I wear the beautiful crown of achievement, in Jesus name.
