When God speaks, His word is immutable, invincible, and sure to come to pass (Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 55:11; 1 Peter 1:25). But as Joseph of the Old Testament & other faithful ones of Scripture learned, sometimes it is necessary for us to hold on to God's word for a time--even a long time--to learn patient perseverance and faithfulness in all seasons. When we do so, we discover again how God is always faithful to His promises--and we also learn from Him how to stand strong in faith despite whatever comes.  SCRIPTURE TEXT: Mark 4:3-15   SUNDAY SERVICE  PREACHER: Assoc.
