Holiday consumer spending forecast from DailyPay CEO

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   What is in store when it comes to consumer spending this holiday season?    DailyPay is a company that gives employers and employees the opportunity to put money in the pockets of workers more quickly.   CEO Stacy Greiner, who by the way has an MBA from MIT and trained as an aerospace engineer,  says it is looking like it will be a good year… “All signs are showing that it’s going to be a high shopping season this year which means that retailers, both online and in store, are really staffing up to be ready for a quite busy season.” Are there particular categories that you’re anticipating are going to draw the most attention from consumers? “Well I think it’s going to see both in store, across retailers, as well as online.” And that could lead to more competition for workers as retailers meet the demand.
