Holiday Traditions | Ep 9

from You Gotta Try This! · host Katherine Sikma Wadsworth

‘Tis the season! I love this time of year. One reason it’s so special is because of the traditions I share with friends and family. Traditions have an amazing ability to connect us to each other. They give us a sense of unity and belonging. They are things we pass down that help us remember who we are. Over time, the threads we weave by repeated observance of our holiday traditions create the fabric of our relationships.  What is a favorite tradition your family has passed down?  Learn more about the things I mentioned here: Icelandic Christmas Eve book tradition Check out Kiss Impress Nails Elfster Secret Santa gift exchange app Dutch Chocolate Letters Scrub Daddy dishwashing sponge If you want to start being more intentional about practicing traditions with your people, it’s not too late! What would you like to build into your life this year that would honor the people and values that matter most to you? Let us know what you try! Thanks to my editor Belle Battista, and to everyone who shared their favorite holiday traditions. We’d love to hear from you too!
