Holocaust survivor, 96-year-old Peter Feigl tells his story before La Crosse visit

from WIZM - La Crosse Talk Interviews · host WIZM News Staff

Peter Feigl joined to tell us his incredible story of surviving the Holocaust — the many ways his life was saved — losing his parents to the Auschwitz concentration camp and what he did after WWII.  Feigl will be in La Crosse on Wednesday, telling this story and answering audience questions at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center. People should get there at 6 p.m., because every seat will be filled for the free event. It will also be livestreamed here. Also joining is Darryle Clott, Holocaust educator at Viterbo, who helped set this conversation up. After Feigl tells his story, Clott talks about some of the new details he shared, the importance of his telling this story and how Viterbo prioritizes Holocaust education to teachers with workshops throughout the year. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
