Holy Forty Women Martyrs and Martyr Ammon the Deacon at Heraclea

Today we remember the Holy Forty Women Martyrs and their teacher, Martyr Ammon the Deacon, who lived in Adrianople in Thrace during the early 4th century. These faithful Christians were arrested for their faith under the rule of Emperor Licinius and faced severe trials for refusing to worship idols. Led by a courageous woman named Kelsina and their teacher Ammon, they stood firm in their confession of Christ. Despite brutal tortures and attempts to force them to renounce their faith, they remained steadfast, ultimately giving their lives as martyrs.Support the show
