Sexual immorality is nothing new in a post-fall world. The culture of the Thessalonians had major issues in this area just as our world does today. Paul makes it clear that one of the distinguishing marks of a Christian should be "that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God."
