Holy Saturday by Kai-Anne Clews
from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews
All the world is silent, For our Lord does gently sleep, In the quiet of His earthly tomb He conquers now the deep. All the world now stilled, And waiting with baited breath, Though given up to be killed He defeated even death. Faithful pilgrims keep faithful watch For the rising of the Son – For the victory of the eternal Lord, Eternity thus begun. Now every Sunday is an Easter, A remembering of grace – Every church a Calvary To remind us we are saved. https://www.sabiansun.com/post/holy-saturday
