Holy SimplifyingAre you running the race God has marked out for you, or are you running someone else’s? Let us discover how to navigate life's terrain with God's help; overcoming every challenge that lies before us. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. - Hebrews 12:1-2 (NIV) “Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value. Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value. - Matthew 6:19-20 (TPT) But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. - 1 Timothy 6:6-7 (NASB) If you are on the path God has for you, ask Holy Spirit to show you any areas where you need to simplify, so that your race won’t be so difficult.
