If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22-25 NKJV Introduction Like love, there’s no limit how much joy we must have in our lives  Remember fruits carries vitamins that the body needs  The more joy we have, the better quality of life we have  People in the world both believers and nonbelievers have one thing in common; pursuit of happiness  We look for happiness in people and things  We buy a lot of things hoping they will bring us joy  Joy from things is very temporary  We put pressure on our loved ones to be a source of joy in our lives  Others have their joy attached in sports 🏏 ⚽️ 🏉  No joy if your favourite team lost 😞 The only sustainable source of joy is God The Holy Spirit  Walking in the Spirit is the factory of True Joy Joy Thieves  “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 NKJV The devil thrives where there is unhappiness, bitterness, unforgiveness and hatred  This has the same effect whether you are a Pastor, church member or an unbeliever Demons are walking around looking for unhappy/bitter people to preach to them what to do next Kill him, he doesn’t deserve to live  Divorce her, there’s no love in this marriage anymore  Slap him or her, they started it Revenge yourself, they started it You will find out that most of the evil things we do are from the seed of anger and bitterness  “So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? The first murder trial of the earth was between 2 brothers as a result of bitterness  Stay In The Joyful State The Joy Of The Lord Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV The joy of getting married decreases when you now start facing - reality that you are living with someone else and you need to adjust  The joy of the yearly salary increase is temporary - food price hikes  The joy of getting a new job is temporary - when challenges arise you start feeling like resigning  The joy of buying a new big house decreases when you see how difficult is it to keep it clean - bigger bills kicks in  The joy of buying an SUV decreases when you notice the patrol price increasing The JOY OF THE LORD is the one that is going to sustain, your happiness in good and bad time People are in debt today because of lack of joy People are edicted to substance abuse due to lack of joy People are suffering consequences of bad relationships due to lack of joy  Holy Spirit is the only answer to heal our lives out of sadness and bitterness  Joyful Praise Acts 16:25-31 NKJV Holy Spirit empowered Paul and Silas to be joyful They could have been complaining and crying about the situation they were in to God but they gave Him Joyful Praise  Joyful praise breaks the chain ⛓️‍💥  God works best in a positive environment full of joy Paul allowed God to work mightily in their lives and the lives of the others when they praise God God dwells in the praises of His people  Psalms 22:3 NLT Joy In Tribulation James 1:2-4 NLT When we go through difficult times we must not lose our joy That is the only way the devil plants negativity  Do the opposite of what you will normally do  If you don’t bitterness is coming your way  Conclusion: Jesus Endured The Cross For Us Hebrews 12:2 NKJV Jesus was motivated by joy to die for us How wonderful it is to know that  Jesus Christ died for us so that we can live life full of Joy  Let the Holy Spirit give us the fruit of Joy  We can give him our heart
