Holy Strangers, Wholly Good
from Open House Church Sermons · host KJ Tromp
Christians often feel out of place when faith makes ordinary choices look strange. Peter calls them living stones in God’s temple, joined to Jesus as the cornerstone and living among others as strangers. Their different life is not retreat but visible goodness that may draw accusers to glorify God. Jesus makes it possible. He suffered without retaliation and bore their sins, freeing them to resist sin, honour authorities, and keep doing good under unfair treatment. Bible Reference: 1 Peter 2:11–25 Preacher: KJ Tromp
