Holy Thursday: LOVE LOVE LOVE

Each year, the Gospel reading for Holy Thursday always pierces my heart. It begins: "Jesus knew that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father. He loved his own in the world and he loved them to the end." On this night of the infamous Last Supper, Jesus would gift the Church two new Sacraments of his love -- the Eucharist and the priesthood. Nothing else in the universe demonstrates Christ's love better.
