Holy Wednesday- lessons from the last 8 days of Jesus' Life and Ministry

Today is Holy Wednesday, so I will be talking about lessons from Jesus' last Wednesday. I have Shared previously on Holy Tuesday, Holy Monday and Palm Sunday. Feel free to listen, like, subscribe and share. For over 1,600 years, Christians worldwide have commemorated the final days of Jesus' life during Holy Week. Today marks Holy Wednesday, a day that remembers the events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion. On this day, both faithful Mary and treacherous Judas played significant roles in preparing Jesus for his death. After publicly challenging both Rome and the temple system, the religious elite viewed Jesus as a threat to their kingdom and religion (John 11:48). They believed that if Jesus was not killed, Rome would come and destroy their temple, taking away what little power they had left (John 11:50; Matthew 26:3-4). Thus, they made their final plans to kill Jesus.
