Home Alone, Old Man Marley & the GOD Who Shows Up Quietly

This Christmas, let’s slow down. In this special cozy episode of The Fold: Faith Between the Lines, I’m talking about one of my favorite Christmas movies, Home Alone, and a reel that changed the way I see it. What if Old Man Marley isn’t just a misunderstood neighbor — but a quiet reflection of Jesus? We talk about feeling alone during the holidays, finding God in unexpected places, and how Emmanuel often shows up quietly, right when we need Him most. This episode is an invitation to settle in, reflect, and see a familiar story through a faith-filled lens. Grab a warm drink, turn the lights low, and listen in.
