Here is your Christmas Day episode!  A bit of a longer episode today with one of my longest standing fans Lisa. She’s been listening to the podcast since it began in 2020 and today she’s guesting us sharing, in depth about her journey in finding the perfect midwife match for her dream birth. I thought xmas was a great time for a bit of a longer episode as you digest all that food on the couch you can drift off to birth land through our conversation. Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Lisa.  Lisa is a first time mama from Wollongong, Australia.  She’s an outdoor adventure guide that is now enjoying her time as a stay at home mum, tending to her permaculture garden and food forest. Lisa dreamed of having a natural and empowering birth even before falling pregnant. When she did fall pregnant she instantly booked in at the local Midwifery Group Practice program at her hospital as well as with a doula.  However, falling into the low risk category proved to be hard and after getting booted off the program in the 3rd trimester she went on to have the birth she had envisioned with privately practicing midwives at 42weeks and 6 days.
