Home Building 101: Consecrating our Hearts and Homes

David got into more trouble in one night than he could get out of in a lifetime. After experiencing great spiritual victories, he succumbed to temptation. Trying to cover up his sin, he caused people to die, and told Joab not to worry about it. But God knew what David had done and was not pleased. King David was not the ruler who could save Israel, because he could not save himself. But a thousand years later, a ruler would be born in his line who faced temptation, never sinned, and saved the world. His kindness leads us to repentance.
