Weeping remains for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. After Bathsheba and David’s young son died, God blessed them with a baby boy named Solomon. At least that is the name by which we know him. Because God loved the child, he sent Nathan with word to name him Jedidiah which means, “the Lord loves him.” Our songs and our faith tell us that God loves children – all children. Do we share God’s heart for children? What if our love for children reveals the Father’s love for them?
