Homeopathy in America (S1008)

from 1M: a Homeopath's Podcast · host Kelly Callahan

In just 3 short days from when I write this, Americans will go to the polls to elect a new president in what has been one of the most disturbing, bizarre, and contentious elections in memory, if not ever.  I wanted to get in an episode before the election, before the results are in, to explore the intersection of the history of homeopathy in America and the issues and themes that have emerged during this election cycle.  Iman Pour Navab is my guest this month. He discovers and shares amazing photos of homeopathic history- the hospitals, schools, homeopaths, and pharmacies that were part of a period of homeopathic vibrancy in the US that is virtually unknown.  Harris Coulter's book Divided Legacy, the articles of Dana Ullman (https://www.homeopathic.com), and the site www.mnwelldir.org provided the source material for the basic story I tell throughout the episode.
