Homeschooling
from Woodridge Community Church Media · host Drew Hacker
We also see that Jesus says in Luke 6:40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Solomon instructs parents to train up a child in the way he should go (Proverbs 22:6) and the Apostle Paul commands fathers to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Logically, we know that a disciple when fully trained, will be like his teacher. So we need to stop letting the world train up our children. We need to take seriously the charge to bring our children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. A child’s education is a significant part of how parents will seek to accomplish these important God-given tasks. This class will provide a convincing argument as to why homeschooling is a superior option for parents as they seek to raise the next generation of men and women who seek to treasure Christ above all.
