The George Real Estate Group Hometown Hero Salute this week goes out to the 1972 Hendersonville High State 3A Championship Men's Basketball Team. Fifty years ago, this incredible team brought home the trophy and no team has accomplished that since. A movie called Tin Can Man has been done about this team and will premiere at Hendersonville High School on August 5th. WHKP's Tippy Creswell was a starting member of that team and many of the team talked about great memories from that game.
