Homeward Bound | This Is Us

Psalm 127 There is a simple truth to the fact that so much of what goes on in our relational world happens in the home. Sometimes I am left wondering, “what are the homes we are actually building?” I also wonder if, at the end of the day, men and women get excited about being “homeward bound”. Is it possible, that over time we could grow weary of the simple pleasures that our homes bring, let alone the people who occupy them? Psalm 127 is well known and highlights that life itself is pointless unless the Lord is the builder. In the psalm, the psalmist declares the anxiety of life without God.
