Homicide 13-326299 - Kyle Byrtus

  On August 15, 2013, at approximately 12:26 p.m., a man reported that he had observed what he believed to be human remains in the area of Leah Court & Meadow Road, Lehigh Acres, Florida. The man was an employee of the Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC). Lee  County Deputy Leslie Green responded and confirmed that the body of a deceased white male lay on the roadway inside Leah Court, an undeveloped cul-de-sac in a wooded area of Lehigh Acres. The decedent had several physical defects that were consistent with gunshot wounds; one in his head, several in his torso, and one in his right forearm.
