Homicide 18-471987 Javarcia Riggins and Kevin Robinson

On the evening of October 9, 2018, a family gathering at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers turned into a scene of chaos and tragedy. As relatives exited TGI Friday’s after celebrating a birthday dinner, a gunman armed with what witnesses described as an assault-style rifle opened fire in the parking lot. The targeted attack left two men dead — 56-year-old Kevin Robinson and 22-year-old Javarcia Riggins — and seriously wounded a 25-year-old female. Surveillance footage, witness accounts, and over 50 spent shell casings collected at the scene pointed to a calculated ambush.
