Celebramos hoje, com grande alegria, uma das mártires mais ilustres da antiguidade cristã: Santa Inês de Roma. Morta com 12 anos durante as perseguições de Diocleciano, ela foi sempre invocada pelo povo fiel como especial padroeira da castidade, uma das virtudes em que ela mais demonstrou a força e a grandeza de alma que confere a graça de Cristo aos que lhe são fiéis.
