Honesdale Borough Council Meeting - 1/17/22

Honesdale Borough Council Regular Meeting: January 17, 2022 Mayor Derek Williams asked for a moment of silence and reflection prior to the meeting. He stated that he will be asking a local faith leader to speak before the meeting. Call meeting to order Council President James Hamill called the regular meeting of Honesdale Borough Council to order at 6:01 PM. A roll call of councilors indicated the following present at Borough Hall, 958 Main Street, Honesdale: James Hamill, David Nilsen, James Jennings, Michael Augello, Jason Newbon and Jaren Newbon. Councilor William McAllister participated via the available virtual option. Other Borough officials attending in person were Mayor Williams, Solicitor Richard Henry and Secretary Judith Poltanis. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. President Hamill stated that a hybrid meeting would be available going forward to allow for more public participation in the meetings.
