Honestly Carl is Lonely

Today, Kate chats with a high school friend, Carl. Carl talks about connection and belonging as a high school band kid, and then the loneliness of leaving the band and heading home. They reminisce about high school and how they struggled to find their identity. They talk long and hard about the connectivity of music and concerts. They bonded over A-Ha as kids and today Ball Park Music as adults, and continue to bond over music and the connection it can bring.Carl talks about loneliness being a measure of unkept expectations.
