Honesty, Good Choices and Divine Health 12/2/25 Frame Your Week with the Word

from Frame Your Week with the Word · host Sara Shallenberger

Frame Your Week with the Word HEALING and DIVINE HEALTH -Living the HEALED Lifestyle 12/2/25 You have to be honest with yourself and God to live in Divine Health. And our CHOICES have as much to do with it as our COVENANT and FAITH.Key points from today:Healing is covenant and available, not automatic.85% of physical illness has a stress/component.Therefore a major part of living in divine health comes from learning to live with healthy thoughts, and keeping your heart/spirit healthy and free from anxiety, anger, bitterness. etc.Divine health means we have to learn to make healthy choices for our thinking and relationships with others. If we were raised in a chaotic home, or had trauma early in life, we might not know what healthy IS, but the Word and Holy Spirit will help us.Learning to make daily choices to keep yourself in interior peace every day is a good way to start living in Divine Health.Learning to be honest with yourself and God with your emotions.I am a big proponent of counseling and made good use of it the years after the assault, and even as I started raising my children. It was important to have objective feedback. The Holy Spirit fills this role as well, when as we pray in the Spirit He allows our minds to get into the 'executive functioning mode' or objectively look at the situation from 'outside of it.'The Holy Spirit helps all of us to make good daily choices with how we speak to ourselves, and others.Even if we grew up with trauma, we can learn day by day to get healthier and healthier with ourselves and others by meditating the Word and following the lead of the Holy Spirit and leaning into His empowerment.Using our faith, does not mean lying to ourselves or God about a situation. Especially for women that have been taught to 'be nice' and not 'rock the boat' or churches that put too much pressure on women to 'not express anger' or 'use their faith' without the dignity of human processing, we want to offer people a healthier alternative. God has a different way of handling it.If you have gone to your pastor or local church and not received the help or understanding that you needed, you are not alone. We do not need to be angry and hateful towards churches and pastors, but it is helpful to see they aren't all equipped or trained to deal with the whole needs of a person going through trauma. The pulpit is really more a general net that goes out to 'mid line group' of people.Do not turn from God or His people. God can and will help you.He has someone you can talk to, and His Word and Spirit will heal you. You do not have to pretend with God, but you do need to be willing to take HIS WORD OVER your own thoughts, and circumstance and believe Him.Do you need more help?We have many resources for healing. We have a healing Class. We have "Seeing Jesus at the Parole Hearing" and it's workbook, as well as many books on healing and other core topics on our website; You can find them, as well as partnership info. at;H2:2 Ministries: https://h2two.org/bookstore-and-partners#Jesus #healer #divineHealth #CovenantGod #covenantofIncrease #covenantofrecompense #recompense #divinerecompense #double #doubleforyourtrouble #SaraShallenberger #h2twoSee less43CommentsHide commentsCommentsMoses Raj Mattupalli  · 6:26Amen1hReplyHide1hReplyHideCindy Luann  · 22:31Good morning, Sara.  That's so true about being afraid to testify or follow through after being raped.
